Dr. Fox, one of the most experienced pediatricians in the region, has been board-certified since 1993 and has practiced in the Mt. Pleasant area since 2006. In 2015, she opened Fox Pediatrics with a vision to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care for children in mid-Michigan and surrounding areas.
To support this mission, Dr. Fox has assembled a team of skilled pediatric nurse practitioners, each bringing unique nursing expertise to our collaborative care model. Well Child Visits
Preventative care is key to supporting your child’s healthy growth and development. Regular
well child visits are one of the best ways to keep your child healthy and provide an opportunity to address any questions or concerns about their health. These visits should be scheduled at specific intervals to ensure proper care. We recommend calling our office three months in advance to book an appointment with your child’s primary care provider at a time that works best for you. Prioritizing these check-ups helps set the foundation for lifelong wellness.
Sick Child Visits
When your child is sick, prompt medical attention is essential to help them feel better and start healing. We understand how stressful this can be for parents, which is why we offer same-day
sick child visits to quickly provide the care your child needs. If you have concerns about your child’s health or need to schedule a sick visit, simply call our office. Our team will discuss your child’s symptoms and arrange a visit tailored to their needs, ensuring they get the right treatment as soon as possible.
Telehealth
Telehealth, or a “virtual visit,” allows your child to consult with their pediatrician via video conferencing. It’s a convenient way to receive care without visiting the office in
Mount Pleasant, offering access to your child’s full medical history. Telehealth is suitable for issues like rashes, pinkeye (no fever, age 2+), colds, mild fevers, allergies, mild croup, stomach issues, and minor injuries. We also offer telehealth for behavioral and mental health concerns. Some conditions, like ear pain or significant coughs, may require an in-person visit after the video consultation.
